She’s had 14 number-one singles, 32 top-ten singles, nine Grammy Awards, 13 American Music Awards, 12 Billboard Music Awards, six Guinness World Records, the NAACP's President's Award, and an Academy Award nom. Her top selling single is Umbrella. Rihanna has acted in several films, notably Ocean's 8. Time mag named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2012 and 2018. She owns a nonprofit org Clara Lionel Foundation, Fenty Beauty (part of LVMH), and SavagexFenty, her lingerie line. She
co-chaired the 2018 Met Gala. She won the 2017 Harvard Humanitarian of the Year award
for her charitable work and service. In 2023, Rihanna's net worth is $1.5 billion. She became America's youngest self-made female billionaire in 2022. She was in the army in Barbados.

 

Dolores Huerta
Labor leader, Civil rights activist, Co-founder United Farmworkers Association
Dolores is one of the most influential labor activists of the 20th century. In 1955 Huerta began her activist career by founding the Community Service Organization, which led voter registration drives and fought for economic improvements for Hispanics. Dolores and César Chávez founded the National Farm Workers Association. She led the CA Agricultural Labor Relations Act, which gave farm workers union rights. Dolores’ quote, “Sí se puede” Spanish for "Yes, we can" inspired President Obama's campaign slogan and he said so when awarding her the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2012. Dolores is the subject of several films, A Crushing Love, Diego Luna's César Chávez, and a 2017 doc called Dolores. She created the Dolores Huerta Foundation, that works with agricultural communities, helps people run for office, and advocates for health issues. She has an asteroid named after her, The Asteroid 6849 Doloreshuerta.

Grace Jones

Grace JonesSinger, Model, Fashionista, Muse. Grace is a Jamaican-American and modeled in New York and Paris, worked for Yves St. Laurent and Kenzo, and was on the covers of Elle and Vogue. She was a muse for Jean-Paul Goude, Helmut Newton, and Thierry Mugler. She is known for her distinctive androgynous appearance. In 1977 she began her singing career and had several Top-40 hits. Her mostsuccessful single was Slave to the Rhythm. Grace acted in films, Conan the Barbarian and James Bond’s A View to a Kill. The style-icon still preforms concerts with multiple outrageous outfits. Her book, Grace Jones: I’ll Never Write My Memoirs.
