Sonia Sotomayor

Sonia is an American w/Puerto Rican heritage. She graduated summa cum laude from Princeton and won the University’s Moses Taylor Pyne Prize, the highest honor possible for its undergraduates, and she was offered a scholarship to Yale Law School. She was the first Hispanic federal judge in New York State. Sonia broke boundaries by becoming the first Latina to be a Justice on the U.S. Supreme Court. As a liberal Justice she has ruled to uphold the Affordable Care Act and legalize same-sex marriage in all 50 states. She is known for her trust in the judicial process. “Until we get equality in education, we won't have an equal society.”

Nirmala Sitharaman
Minister of Finance of India, Politician, Economist

Nirmala is the first female Minister of Finance, Ministers of Corporate Affairs, and Defense Minister in India. She holds a Master's degree in Economics and has a background in academics and journalism. Sitharaman is known for her strong economic policies and her advocacy for women's empowerment and entrepreneurship.
Highlights: She was featured in the Forbes 2022 list of World's 100 most powerful women. Fortune magazine named her the most powerful woman in India.

 

Diana Ross
Singer, Actor, Diva, Silent Generation

Born in Detroit, Michigan, she rose to fame as the lead singer of The Supremes, who became Motown's most successful act during the 1960s and one of the world's best-selling female groups of all time. They remained the best-charting female group in history, with a total of twelve number-one hit singles on the US Billboard Hot 100. Her discography consists of 25 studio albums and 116 singles. She has sold over 100 million records worldwide. Diana achieved success and recognition for her portrayal of Billie Holiday in the film Lady Sings the Blues with a Golden Globe Award and Academy Award nomination. She was named the "Female Entertainer of the Century" by Billboard in 1976. Diana was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and has two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Highlights: Guinness World Records crowned Ms. Ross as the "most successful female artist in music history.” She has earned a Tony Award, the Kennedy Center Honors, the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012 and 2023, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2016. And, she’s still preforming in concert.
