Dr. Sian Proctor
(Sian Hayley "Leo" Proctor)
American (born in Guam), Astronaut, Geology professor
Dr. Proctor is a geoscientist, explorer, space artist, and astronaut. She is the mission pilot for the Inspiration4 all-civilian orbital mission to space. She is one of The Explorer’s Club 50: Fifty People Changing the World. Her motto is “Space2inspire” where she encourages people to use their unique strengths and passion to inspire others. She believes in J.E.D.I. space: a Just, Equitable, Diverse, and Inclusive space as we advance human spaceflight. She is an Afrofuturism artist who makes collages combining real-world concepts with future-driven themes and technology.

Megan Rapinoe
American, Soccer player, Advocate

Megan is a professional athletic and Olympic gold medal winner (London 2012), three-time FIFA Women's World Cup gold winner, and named The Best FIFA Women's Player in 2019. She is the first player; male or female, to score a goal directly from a corner at the Olympic Games, having done so twice. She won the Golden Boot and Golden Ball awards at the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup in France. Megan is an irresistible force—on and off the field, playful, inventive and out-of-the-box. She is an advocate for numerous LGBTQIA+ organizations. She is symbol of gender equality and fought for equal pay for female soccer players. She is also an advocate for the Black Lives Matter movement.
Highlights: Megan was included Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People of 2020. In July 2022, Rapinoe received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from Joe Biden. Book: One Life.

 

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC)
United States Representative for New York 14th District, Democrat, American w/Puerto Rican heritage, Activist

Taking office at age 29, AOC is the youngest woman ever to serve in the United States Congress. She attended Boston University with a focus on international relations and economics and graduating cum laude. She advocates a progressive platform that includes support for workplace democracy, Medicare for All, tuition-free public college, a federal jobs guarantee, a Green New Deal, and abolishing the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Ocasio-Cortez is a member of "The Squad," a group of progressive members of Congress along with Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, Rashida Tlaib, Cori Bush, and Jamaal Bowman. She was previously an activist and worked as a waitress and bartender before running for Congress. She is active on social media.
Highlights: AOC’s first primary campaign is featured in Michael Moore’s documentary Fahrenheit 11/9. Documentary: Netflix’s Knock Down The House.
