Greta is an international figure and has inspired a youth-led global climate strike movement, Fridays for Future, which urges cuts in carbon emissions. At a UN climate event in New York City she said, “You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words… We are in the beginning of a mass extinction, and all you can talk about is money, and fairy tales of eternal economic growth. How dare you!”
Highlights: She has two books, No One Is Too Small to Make a Difference (2019), a collection of her speeches, and The Climate Book: The Facts and the Solutions (2023). There is also a documentary, I Am Greta (2020).

Yayoi is an award-winning, contemporary artist who paints, works in sculpture and installation, music, design, writing, and fashion. Her most common motif is dots, lots and lots of dots. “Since my childhood, I have always made works with polka dots. Earth, moon, sun and human beings all represent dots; a single particle among billions.”Yayoi has a dedicated museum, the Yayoi Kusama Museum in Tokyo, Japan.
